There's an easy harmony and collegial feeling among our crew, to such an extent that when Gartrelle said that he wanted to get the hydroponics systems going in the GreenHab, most of us decided to join him. Without asking, people were pitching in to fetch water, take pictures and provide guidance.
Our crew spends most of its hours in a small room, gathered around a table, alternately doing work and encouraging each other through the activities. We work to support each other, taking on extra tasks where needed, providing extra support to get what needs to get done, done.
The harsh and isolated conditions on Mars can drive a crew into two directions: apart, or together. It's great to see so much good work being done as we enter our second week here.
