Engineering check and pumping the water form the trailer to the static were the first two steps of EVA 3. Then, we took some pictures and videos of Nicholas using the drone next to the Hab.

After we walked along the hills from location 12SWH17962 with clear/strong signal to:

12SWH17936 - clear/strong signal

12SWH17929 - clear/strong signal

12SWH17898 - strength/weak signal

12SWH17852 - strength/weak signal

12SWH17827 - squelch/static signal

12SWH17891 - clear/strong signal

12SWH17833 - clear/strong signal

12SWH17811 - strength/weak signal

12SWH17920 - clear/strong signal

Each location is referenced by GPS coordinates. Pictures are taken for a better understanding of the location with reference the Hab. The data might be used in futures EVA for emergency support. In the end, the EVA was a great experience: the landscape is impressive and we enjoyed hiking!

I had problems with walkie talkie number (#) 4 due to interferences in sending messages. HabCom asked me to change swap it with one of the crew members in EVA.

One crew had neck pain after the EVA due to the weight of the pack bag and a crew member’s helmets was very foggy, making him uncomfortable. No severe medical issues happened, these are just sensation after the EVA. The design of the space suit really affects human performances and after this EVA we had a chat about how to improve and optimize the future pack bags and helmets.
