Today's work schedule focused on identification and processing of the samples collected on yesterday's EVA. No hugely surprising species growing around the hab - the predominant vascular plant ground cover here is the introduced Halogeton glomeratus. The lichens are proving more difficult to identify, giving me a challenge for tomorrow. The lab contained all I needed to rig up an ad-hoc plant dryer - with any luck the samples will be dry in a day.
