Finally....Crew 151 landed successfully onto Martian surface this
afternoon with no technical complications except having to sadly leave
several original crew members behind on Earth. However, two new
members join the mission at last minute notice and now we are a crew
of four analog astronauts. After several hours of crew bonding and
entertainment from the crew engineers in the first engineer-only bread
making team session (which tasted rather unbelievably wonderful with
mountains of peanut butter and nutella) we started to organize our
schedules and set up the multiple projects we have bought into the
mission. The afternoon was spent designing our new mission patch which
will be revealed very soon. This will be an interesting and exciting
week and we are all looking forward to the days ahead.
A beautiful day on Mars.
