Summary: First attempt at observation tonight. I was able to orient myself to the dome and telescope. Able to get the dome functioning properly. I was able to get the telescope on and start the two star alignment. I found stars in the viewfinder that were in focus, but was unable to get clear focus in the eyepiece. The 40 mm eyepiece does appear to have small chip in the bottom portion but I do not believe this is affecting the optics.
