2014-2015 season lettuce:

Starts were transported from the Hab to GreenHab in the morning. No

sprouting has occurred yet.

They were again transported back to the Hab this evening.

Crew 142 Martian soil project:

Radishes have nearly all germinated, put up first leaves, and are

growing rapidly. GreenHab

temperatures were quite low today, and not much growth was observed.

Chard seeds are readily

emerging, and several have put up their first leaves.

Watering Activity Notes:

2014-2015 season lettuce: starts were watered in the morning.

Crew 142 Martian soil project: Five of the experiment trays were

watered in the morning with

0.5mL (chard). With the lower temperatures last night and during the

day today treatments did not

dry out as quickly as previously.

Heater Activity Notes:

Heater was turned off a 0800. Heating resumed at 1700.

Fan Activity Notes:

Fan did not run at all today.
