Final EVA. Final dinner. Last Commander’s Report. Cleaning for the next crew. It’s that day, our last one on Station. But it’s been a busy one. Jessup, Komorowski and Diaz-Rubin did an early EVA but like the previous two EVA attempts encountered conditions too muddy to complete the planned route. The rest of the crew did final project work and began Hab cleaning in preparation for handover to the incoming Crew 134 tomorrow. The EVA suits are in fine shape – mud brushed off and the worst of them washed – and the ATVs have had the saddle and wheel well mud cleaned off of them. Tomorrow we will clean the Hab from top to bottom and pack up for departure. And say goodbye to the place that challenged us, changed us, educated us and turned these six strangers into friends.
