Astronomy Report

02/24/2014

Corentin Liber

Sky Conditions: Clear

Winds: None

Time of Observation: 2.30am - 6.30am

Summary:

We decided to change our observation window for last night to have access to different objects.

The weather was almost perfect: low temperature, absence of wind, late moonrise.

We could apply the different processing we practiced the previous night and achieved better results.

At the end of our observation, the Moon and then the Sun were showing up and some of our pictures

were a little too exposed but are still good. We switched to spectroscopy around 6 am and recorded

the Moon spectrum. We also tried the Venus spectrum but we had some calibration problems. We

expect to resolve them before the next observation.
