Purpose:

Recognize areas where you can see growth of extrem microorganisms such as cyanobacteria and lichens through the coloration and texture of the rocks.

Narrative:

We left at 10:00 (Adolfo, Luciana and I), we took the ATVs and we headed to the coordinates found by the XO and Commander in Their Last EVA and Those we marked on the GPS.

Today we followed a longer path than our previous geology EVA and Could find the coordinates of our destination, where we found a cave like geological formation Formed by erosion harboring rocks with green, orange and black color, Which We could identity as lichens for the texture of the rock.

We took pictures and pointed our coordinates.

To find lichens is really valuable for our expedition, as it is a type of extreme life, the union of fungi and cyanobacteria, which has been well preserved in the crypt of the rocks.

Then we jumped on the ATVs and in our return we find space tourists on the road.
