Commander Report

03/11/2014

Miyajima Hiroyuki

It was very windy last night. The Hab was battered by the wind all night. During the day, it was sunny and calm today. Four crewmembers went to the hill near the Hab for their second EVA.

I completed uploading our crew video this morning. In addition, I submitted my conference paper regarding the Inspiration Mars mission yesterday, on that deadline. I began to sum up our research at MDRS for our final report today. We collected data about the cooking and food, hygiene control, health management, water consumption, logistics, habitation facility, and navigation for long range EVA on Mars.

Our habitation experiment at MDRS was reported on the newspaper in Japan, on March 11.
