Narrative Of Field Mission Results:

Attempted to collect water from the mud puddle we located several days ago. We were unable to reach it and will return with a sample collector on a string to lower it in. Spent the rest of the EVA scouting for EVA rescue locations for when Alex arrives. Located another fossilized clam bed.

Forgot to mention in the Engineering report: second floor A/C trips the circuit breaker occasionally. More of an occasional nuisance than anything.

Mud collection and photo documentary EVA for the crew journalist. Commander arrives in the evening.

Inventory:

Harvest food from the greenhouse, we remain well stocked but water is getting low.
