Sol 10.

Windy EVA today, we stayed near the Hab. Arthur needed measurements to make a better map of the environment of the Hab. So we followed him, but after all this time to see him go three times (or more!) around each hill, we were tired and sat down. We relay him sometimes. I made pictures with the GoPro, because I didn’t want to damage my camera with the strong wind, the GoPro is easier to carry.

I ate the leftovers, and it was good (like I said yesterday). We nearly finished eating the Popsicle, they filled the bag too much and we had to break them with a hammer. Good dessert after all, even when it’s not really hot outside.

Today, namely yesterday evening, we decided together to establish a rule of two hours of approximately silence after the dinner. So that we could rest our ears and brain. And it worked well, so well that after the two hours, everyone stayed calm.

This afternoon, Julie advanced in her research. Arthur tried to make the most beautiful map with all the data he already had by interpolating them in Matlab.

We tried to print the Hab in 3D. It was the only source of noise for this afternoon. Sometimes, there was also Gregory who laugh alone in front of his computer.

I nearly finished my book, science is not right, but the characters and the story is good! I recommend you to bring it with you if you start a long journey (it’s better if you go on Mars, obviously, but anywhere else is fine too…)
