Purpose:

The purpose of this EVA was to expose the crew to geology field work concepts while staying in-sim.

Narrative:

We left the hab at 1430 and headed to our first stopping point. At this site, we looked at different sandstone formations, collected samples, and used a Munsell soil-color charts to perform color analysis. We also performed strike and dip measurements. After that, we continued to our second stop, where we conducted similar analysis. We took pictures of our surrounding and collected soil samples to later analyze. After that, we headed back to the hab.
