Purpose:

Our first crew set out this morning to both complete their chemistry EVA from yesterday and conduct a geology survey of Martian outcrops.

Narrative:

The crew travelled to Pinto Canyon and gathered water samples for testing the quality of the water available to Martians. After that, they travelled back down the main road to a series of outcrops riddled with broken capstone and crumbled hoodoos.
