Purpose1:
The purpose of the EVA is to take magnetic susceptibility and electric
conductivity measurements on top of the cliff to see if the soil is
different up there than around the base.
Purpose 2:
Gaspard will take wi-fi intensity measurements to see if his
directional antenna increases the range of the base's wi-fi enough to
be used on the cliff.

Purpose:
The purpose of this EVA will be to take hydraulic measurements of a new stream-bed. Florian will help Bastien to make his measurements. He will use a telemeter and a string to measure the dry river. At the same time, Auriane will take magnetic susceptibility measurements .
Narrative:
We went outside the Hab at 10:10 am. We spent some minutes to please the Associated Press media that came in the station today. We then took the ATVs and ride to an old streambed we located in previous EVAs, at about 5 miles away from the station. As the road were still a bit dirty, we tried to ride as slowly as possible to keep safety as a priority.
At the dried streambed, we spent about 1 hour to perform our measurements. Auriane used her susceptibilimeter to assess the magnetic susceptibility of the ground and I make hydraulic measurements using a meter with Florian. We tried to assess the geometry of this old streambed.
We then came back to the station to be on time with the schadule. Roads were already in a better state.
