Commander Report

05/03/14

Prepared by Pete Morgan-Dimmick

Things remain good among the crew heading into Sunday. Water levels are a bit low though, so a resupply would be appreciated. As well our Engineer Kavya has returned home, so I will be taking over the

engineering duties. When Alex Diaz arrives tomorrow I will be handing over command to him.

Josh and I went on an exploratory EVA today in an attempt to get a sample of the mud puddle that was

found in a small gorge. It proved too difficult to reach however so we will need to go back with a

sample collector attached to a string so that it can be lowered down.

Tonight we're eating fresh vegetables from the Greenhab, it'll be a perfect dinner for the mid point in

our rotation.

Other than that nothing else to report, we're taking it slow this weekend. Things will pick back up on

Monday.
