JYOTHI NOOKULA - GREENHAB OFFICERJyothi Nookula received her MBA from one of the top universities in India- Indian School of Business. She was awarded the torch bearer award, awarded to top 10 percentile displaying leadership, extra curricular and academic skills. Her undergraduate degree was Biotechnology Engineering. Currently, Jyothi works at 3D Systems as group product manager and leads their consumer 3D printers. She has successfully launched 4 next generation 3D printers, one of them which uses recyclable coca cola bottles. She also oversees the material launch plan for consumer 3D printing and cross functional planning. She is focused on developing creative products that integrate smoothly into daily life. She was bitten by the space bug while on the campus of NASA Ames. She realized there exists immense opportunity for technology to impact space exploration and lead to development not just interstellar but within Earth too! She is an avid drone collector- most of them printed on her own printers. In addition to her techie interest, she is a classical Indian dancer performing Kuchipudi style. Her other interest is combining organic and electronic into a colorful fusion, creating deep interactive art. Her latest project involves interactive art with the focal point being a collection of light up robotic flowers, using reflectivity, LEDs, fiber optics and sensor.MOHAMMAD IRANMANESH - CREW SCIENTIST / CO-JOURNALISTBorn in Belgium in. Passionate about the engineering challenges offered by Space Exploration, he starts a general Engineering Degree in Electromechanics at the Louvain School of Engineering before specializing with a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Simultaneously, he enrolls in a double Master Degree in Space System Engineering and Automatic Control at Institut supérieur de l'aéronautique et de l'espace (ISAE-SUPAERO) in France. In addition to his academic curriculum, he has always been looking for opportunities to learn more and get out of his comfort zone (certified scuba diver and training glider pilot). The experiences that he has gathered thanks to multiple extracurricular projects has taught him to lead complex projects and multicultural teams in difficult conditions.SUSAN JEWELL MD - HSO & CO-JOURNALISTDr Susan Jewell is a veteran analog astronaut and has logged many hours in Mars analog simulations. She was Health& Safety Officer (HSO)/Executive Officer (XO) for UKMars Crew 134; Commander MarsWithoutBorders, (MWOB) Crew145, and a finalist competing for the pioneering one year Artic mission as HSO/Journalist member FMARS MA365 Crew 144. Susan is the recipient of the prestigious 2015 Marie Marvinght Award for Innovation & Excellence in Aerospace Medicine. An annual award given by the international recognized Aerospace Medicine Association AsMA. Dr Jewell is a space physician-scientist and a working professional in the areas of integrative medicine, human-factors, analog astronaut simulation training, R&D, space medicine / physiology, biomedical engineering, tele-health, and digital media and entertainment. She is training as a Commercial and Analogue Astronaut and a member of Astronaut-4-Hire (A4H), a non-profit organization training future commercial payload scientist astronauts. Founder/ President MarsWithoutBorders (MWOB), an organization with mission and vision for building and training analog astronauts crews including development, testing and successful implementation of technologies and capabilities for Humans-to-Mars settlement to enable the development of human colonies on the Martian surface. Susan has been selected as “highly qualified” pool of potential crew candidate for the NASA funded Hawaii Space Exploration Simulation Analog (HISEAS) expedition and selected for the two week simulation crew at the NASA HERA (Human Exploration Research Analog) station at Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas. Dr Jewell is an alumni of the International Space University, ISU, Space Studies Training Program, SSP14 and elected to serve on Board of Directors ISU-USA Alumni Organization as Director of Development. She trained at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Aerospace Residency program in Aviation and Space Medicine including physiological training at NASA Johnson Space Center and Wylie Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston, Texas. She is a member of notable international aerospace/ space associations including the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA), Aerospace Human Factors Association (AsHFA), Space Medicine Association (SMA). Susan is Founder /CEO, Space Medicine, Biomedical Research, Innovations & Technology (SMBRIT), a company focusing on R&D in innovative concepts and integration of disruptive innovations and technologies for improving state-of the art techniques and commercialization of products and procedures for medical applications and space exploration. Founder, Space Surgery Institute (SSI) and was the Founder/ CEO, The Clinic LLC, an integrated telemedicine, health & wellness and multi-media health center. Susan trained as a Medical Scientist and Clinical Researcher in the Department of Molecular (Cancer) Therapeutics and Drug Discovery, National Cancer Institute, NIH and UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, Department of Molecular Pharmacology. She is a national TV/radio/social media health Expert (appeared on CBS, Fox, ABC, NBC, CW) and the recipient of several NIH funded post-doctoral fellowships, notably, the Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) and the National Research Scientist Award (NRSA).
