1114-CommandersReport

Dear Mission Support,

Today concludes our Mars exploration. This morning, we learned about celestial navigation to aid in our trip home, and also discussed water survival in the event of a re-entry into water when our spacecraft returns to Earth. Afterward, we cleaned the Hab. Given that no crew is following us, we moved many operations to safe mode, and followed shut down per your instructions (two lights left on, furnace set to 70 degrees). We turned off the one heater in the lab area, but were unsure of the second heater that Shannon requested we turn off.

Thank you again for the opportunity and all your support. Crew 156 signing off.

Respectfully Submitted,

Ben Easter

MDRS Crew 156 Commander
