Today was somewhat of a repeat of yesterday with a couple of roles switched around. Gartrelle and Diaz-Rubin attempted the EVA Howell and I tried yesterday but had the same muddy road problem; however, they likewise were able to collect useful data in the attempt. Jessup did more work getting the radio astronomy antenna set up and Komorowski did a little more training with us on the equipment he brought before finishing a draft article of the work he is doing here. Howell as usual was busy typing away on a never-ending stream of interesting, articulate news articles she seems to effortlessly produce. Meanwhile I was wrapping up work on the two studies I've been busy with. The Hab is abuzz with activity as the remaining days become hours while the work remaining doesn't seem to be getting done quite fast enough.
Tonight Diaz-Rubin and Jessup plan to do some observing and the rest of us are hoping to see some interesting astronomical objects they set up for us. Tomorrow Jessup and Komorowski will attempt the EVA one more time with an even earlier departure. The rest of us will spend our final full day on station finishing up our projects and beginning our preparations for arrival of the next crew on Saturday.
