Our RAR mission is receiving first useful data for habitat redundancy study. We identified specific
systems that could possess risks for habitat operations and that are currently being theoretically
analyzed for failure modes. Tomorrow will be assessed and selected habitat interior systems.
Mapping of the hab interior continues on the bottom deck - should be finished tomorrow lunch time
concluded with interior CAD drawings and section. Habitat data collection will continue in the
afternoon outside habitat EVA03.
Greenhouse experiment is being optimized. Regular maintenance is ongoing.
EVA02 - Our first EVA ATV (OD (arch), EO (geo, civil), LP (aerosp), FK (report)) was performed very
smoothly. We explored large terrain area, photographed important morphological features and we
preliminarily identified few suitable areas for the base facilities expansion such as landing pad,
space port, emergency launch pad, photovoltaic field, wind turbines location, and paved surfaces
etc.
EVA03 - habitat exterior data measurements (Ondrej Doule, Lucie Poulet, Tereza Pultarova, Filip
Koubek) - walk EVA in the close vicinity of the habitat with tape measures, notepads, pens, head
mounted cameras, laser measure, safety goggles, paper targets, Glass, compas).
MAINTENANCE - Today we spent more time than expected with the habitat maintenance, i.e., the whole
research morning of 2,5 person critical condition habitat systems. The port of the Engineering
Airlock to greenhab was fixed (hinge, latch, spring added). The sink in the lab, bottom deck, is
fixed.

Hab Maint:
- Reparation of the Engineering Airlock hinge completed using Velcro and metal clamping bands. The hinge can be tighten / adjusted if needed in future. Inspections will be performed until the end of the RAR mission
- Reparation of the Engineering Airlock latch completed. The port closes smooth with enough clearance and can be locked with one hand from the inside. The door moved too smooth and wind and the pressure difference was moving the port, therefore a metal plate spring was added below the latch.
- Reparation of the sink drainage pipes completed. The sink was incorrectly installed. It was not fixed to one position, it could move around when pressure applied. This unwanted clearance between the workbench and the sink is the most probable cause of the pipeline damage. We did not have time for complete sink disassembly but we fixed the sink in place with calk from the inside and the sink was re-calked from the top as well (there were holes around). The pipes were cleaned and re-sealed with calk and plastic foil. It was noted that the drainage system is not performing properly because the top deck graywater is being pushed in pipes of the bottom deck sink pipes. It is possible that the pipeline from the bottom deck sink.
- We request permission for reparation of two cables for the EVA PLSS backpacks charging.
